Draft proposed 2025-26 Snohomish County School Impact Fees have been released.

The various Snohomish County school districts have submitted their draft capital facilities plans to Snohomish County for review. The plans form the basis for school impact fees in the upcoming biennium. The plans must be adopted by the local school boards, and finally the Snohomish County Council before going into effect January 1, 2025.

Preliminary numbers show both Lake Stevens and Granite Falls fees would increase. Arlington, Northshore, Snohomish, and Sultan would decrease. Lakewood, Monroe, Edmonds, and Mukilteo would have no fee for single family residences. For more information, please contact dbic@channelmaddie.com.
